Dr. Greger talks about passages in Daniel (1 verses 8-16)that teach people to eat a diet devoid of meat. Eating only fruits and vegetables. This is what we call today a vegan diet. A study was down to determine the effects of a 21 day Daniel diet. Participants enjoyed a positive reduction in blood pressure, insulin levels and cholesterol levels.
