US News and World Report states that a new finding equates more fiber with more years on your life. Data from nearly 400,000 men and women ages 50 to 71 were more likely to live longer because their diets included more fiber. This reduced heart disease risk as well. Fiber may cause positive epigenetic changes that extend life by reducing risks of disease.
