Dr Greger says since we humans are not really carnivores we have evolved from plant-eating apes and have learned to produce all the cholesterol we need. We also can produce inflammation as needed (cut). Cats are carnivores and do not produce inflammation or cholesterol on their own but get it from their food, namely meat. If we eat animal products we get excessive cholesterol and the stuff that produces inflammation. Chicken and eggs are NOT safe. They produce inflammation and cholesterol in us. Inflammation can lead to cancer and cholesterol can lead to heart disease. The only way to completely avoid these excessive intakes is a strict vegan diet. Watch this important video.
Dr Greger says millions suffer from painful fibromyalgia. Both vegetarian diets and vegan diets help but vegan diets helped the most. This 20 year study was done by the Mayo Clinic. Animal protein causes inflammation and inflammation can lead to diseases and cancer. Drugs are not the answer, plants are! If you seuffer from this terrible disease give plants a chance. You have nothing to loose except your pain.
There are cases were we need a drug to stop an infection or help with pain but most drugs we see on TV are to solve minor things like acid reflex. The side effects are so much worse than the thing we are trying to resolve! Is it really worth taking them? I don’t believe so. These maladies that we are taking drugs for can easily be resolved safely through diet. Acid reflex, most chronic illnesses including cancer and heart disease, gout, obesity, and so on and so on… When will we learn that we have evolved with plants to help us live a healthy life. Man made drugs are no comparison to what nature gives us free. The next time you see a drug commercial take note how many there are and how bad the side effects are. Then note what the drug is supposed to cure. Change your life-style and live healthier.
Today is the Mayan day that is supposed to change life on Earth. Maybe more people will move away from animal protein and that will cause our massive number of hospitals and medical centers to close. Our tax dollars saved in healthcare would be massive! HERE IS TO SOME GOOD CHANGE…
A diet rich in soy and whey protein, found in products such as soy milk and low-fat yogurt, has been shown to reduce breast cancer incidence in rats. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Today we look at positive ways to reduce our inflammation in our circulatory system. This research shows that eating a single walnut daily can cut in half the inflammation. WOW the power of plant based foods at work. What we eat drastically affects who we and how healthy we are. Are bodies are just trying to deal with an ever-changing environment.

Research at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine indicates what we have been saying about consumption of animal protein on this BLOG. They say that the interaction of animal protein within our bodies may raise the attention of our immune system. This immune response causes chronic inflammation which can trigger tumor growth. This should be the first quest of modern Nutrigenomic research. Find foods that link to cancer genes being activated or tumor genes being silenced. I believe that the animal protein may be to close to us on the evolutionary scale and trigger genes that shouldn’t be in our bodies.
In a study published at PSA Rising shows that eating red meat and drinking milk may put these animal proteins in close proximity to our cells causing an immune system response that may result in cancer tumors. These results are published in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). A molecule (sugar based) called N-glycolylneuraminic acid (Neu5Gc) is introduced into humans via red meat consumption. The body then produces anti agents to combat these molecules. This can lead to chronic inflammation and cancer.
