Dr. Fuhrman says there is a relationship between eating animal protein and diseases. He says red meat is not the only problem. Chicken, pork, fish can also cause disease. We believe that chicken is so much more healthy than beef but it contains about the same amount of cholesterol as beef. Chicken has more cancer causing heterocyclic amines (HCAs) than beef does. So why do ewe feel it is so healthy? Advertisements! Processed meats such as cold cuts have an even higher risk.

Dr Greger says they have found heterocycles Amines (carcinogens) in cooked meats and fish but also in eggs and cheese! You can solve this by a vegetarian diet but even following a meatless Friday cuts these carcinogens out of your body by Saturday morning. These carcinogens are also in cigarettes! So if you eat healthy but still smoke you still are exposed.
