When smoking was such a problem, we educated people on the bad effects of smoking. After massive education, people stopped smoking and health improved. unfortunately the young are back to smoking. Bill Clinton lost 24 pounds from switching to a vegan diet but he did it for different reasons. After heart surgery, he realized he was still storing cholesterol in his veins blocking them. He did not want to have another heart operation so he did extensive research on what causes cholesterol and how to avoid it. He realized that 82% of people on a vegan diet begin to heal themselves. He references Dean Ornish’s book as well as The China Study.
