We went to the Jersey shore yesterday and walked the boards. The options to eat are cheesy pizza, burgers and fries with fried Oreos thrown in. We even saw a sign for chocolate covered bacon. Come on! Are we really that into greasy fried foods? As you walk near these places your heart is trying to jump out of your body. It will kill you faster than a bullet! I don’t want to limit anyone’s food. If you really want to eat this junk … do it but there should be options for people trying to live.
The other interesting thing we noticed was most older people were walking with carts to support them. This goes hand in hand. If you abuse your body all your life, it will fail you in the end!

Yeah I live at the shore and I always hated this. Food is everything right? I mean we live around when we eat , who we eat with, parties, holidays etc. It is a main focal point in our existence, without it we will starve and die! So my perfect day at the boardwalk would be to have access to good healthy food. Not garbage! The absurdity of it all is everyone gets fad diet crazy when spring comes cause they are embarrassed by their bellies and then they hit the shore and eat garbage food!
You just have to pack your lunch and eat out of a brown paper bag, no biggie, saves you money too. There are places you can buy healthier food but it may require you to leave the boardwalk and with traffic and parking it is a hassle.
If you go to Point Pleasant Beach you can eat sushi but fish is either full of mercury, farm raised with chemicals, radioactive, and pound for pound very expensive.

Reblogged this on and commented:
You would think that at a place where people are wearing very little they would have access to healthy food but not in the land of the rotund.
