Health.com listed 10 heat healthy rules to live by. They said some simple dietary and lifestyle changes can reduce your risk of heart disease. This is epigenetics in action. The 10 ten rules are:
a) Eat whole grains over refined grains
b) Eat oily fishes like salmon and tuna
c) Get a cholesterol test
d) AVOID MEAT!
e) Get exercise
f) Read food labels
g) Be diabetes savvy
h) Steer clear of added sugars
i) Be stingy with salt
j) Eat fruits, veggies and low fat dairy products
