Scientists have long been searching for a link in our genetics that can cause homosexuality. This video is about two identical twins that were raised together in the same environment yet one is gay and the other is not. The statistics show that the number of gay individuals in the general population is less than 5%. If you have a gay twin your chances of being gay is about 25%. If you have an identical twin that is gay, you have a 50% chance of being gay. This would suggest that there is a genetic link but it must be more than just genetics. If it were simply our genes then every gay identical twin would both be gay instead of only 50%. It would appear epigenetics is playing a role here as well. We can’t separate our environment and our genetics. The combination forms unique outcomes even with identical twins resulting in very unique individuals.
