Whole Foods Supermarkets announced yesterday that they were revamping all their stores to an even more healthy oriented market. “We’ve got a serious problems in the health of America, and I feel like Whole Foods has a big part in the answer,” Whole Foods founder John Mackey said. We need more of this in America. Stores serious about America’s health should be keeping up-to-date on the latest epigenetic and nutrigenomics developments. Let’s not say something is healthy just because we were brought up that way (juices, meats, milk, etc). Let’s try to understand what is really healthy for us. I would love to see Whole Foods and other markets give lessons on how to prepare a wide variety of vegetables in interesting ways. Helping people get back to more plant-based foods will make America healthier.
