Eggs increase the risk for heart disease and diabetes, according to a new meta-analysis published in Atherosclerosis. Researchers reviewed 14 studies and found that those who consumed the most eggs had a 19 and 68 percent increased risk for developing cardiovascular disease and diabetes, respectively, compared with those who ate the fewest eggs. For those who already had diabetes, the risk for developing heart disease from eating the most eggs jumped to 83 percent.

The sickness business is booming. Gross revenues look like annual budgets of medium size countries. Profits are up. Just stop and think about the drug companies. Their products have horrible side effects yet they still spend millions to advertise them. Why? because if people die, it doesn’t matter. There are always new kids growing up to buy the drugs. Hospitals are cropping up everywhere. Medical centers are like McDonald’s on each street corner. Our health care system is costing way too much and it will break at some point.
It is sad when we look at the research I have BLOGged about and understand that health can be improved cheaply and safely by changing our diet, exercising, meditating and thinking positive. You will never see anyone advertise this on national TV. Why? because there is no money in being healthy only in being sick. Imagine a large percentage of our great country suddenly got healthy. The trillion-dollar medical & drug system would lose all that. Do you really think they want that to happen?
I found out from a dear friend that whom fought breast cancer. The first doctor and hospital had her go through chemo for months. Later she switched doctors and found out she should never have had the chemo. It was totally ineffective on her type of cancer. When she questioned the original doctor, he said “That’s water under the dam. Everyone gets the same treatment”. Our hospitals are more interested in the money your treatment can generate than your feelings and health. Research research research! You have to take care of your own health and treatments. You are the only one looking out for your well-being. Question everything, get second and third opinions, research treatments and doctors.

The Harvard School of Public Health says,1. Use liquid plant oils for cooking and baking. 2. Ditch the trans fat. 3. Switch from butter to soft tub margarine. 4. Eat at least one good source of omega-3 fats each day
5. Cut back on red meat, cheese, milk, and ice cream.
I agree with these guidelines except the last one. The so-called white meat is about 85% the fat of red, so you are not getting a low-fat amount. We have been marketed that white meat is so much healthier than red. It is close to the fat of red and should also be avoided or cut back on.

Dr Greger says, George McGovern, who lost the presidential election to Richard Nixon, chaired a committee on first dietary guideline in USA in 1977. Diet changes pose as much a health risk as smoking! The diary, salt and sugar communities were up in arms over this report. They actually said if we improved our health we would have more old people to take care of. The two industries that went ballistic was the egg and meat industries. They demanded that the guidelines be changed from “decrease meat intake” to Increase lean meat” then they wanted the study over to the agriculture committee. George tried to help us and our health but our tax dollars were used to help build these industries rather than help American health. The industries need to grow in dollars each year. If American side prematurely, who cares there will be more born.
When smoking was such a problem, we educated people on the bad effects of smoking. After massive education, people stopped smoking and health improved. unfortunately the young are back to smoking. We need the same type of massive education about diet and it’s impact on our health. For me it started with:
The facts on diet and what we eat is out there and be studied. You may not want to hear about cutting back on animal products but it may save your life and your loved ones. One thing is for sure, if we keep going the way we have been eating a SAD (Standard American Diet) diet, we will end up with a chronic disease, in a hospital and a burden to our loved ones. STOP, READ the above sites, INVESTIGATE what’s out there, and CHANGE your lifestyle today!

This brings images of the commercial with the dog running through the house saying bacon bacon bacon. Fast food is using bacon as a come on to sell more sandwiches. There is even a web site that claims it’s good for you. Are you kidding me? Bacon is meat with all the things we have seen bad about animal protein on this BLOG. It os salty and fatty. It will make you fat and sick. Salt & sugar are the two food senses in our mouth (all other tastes are actually smelled through our nasal passage in the back of the throat). They are strong addictions but can be overcome. Once you break the addiction you will be surprised how salty or sweet commercial foods taste. Live healthy, be your own health guru.

We are a nation of zombies following every commercial on TV or radio. Why are there so many drug commercials? Don’t drug companies sell to doctors? They are selling to us so we accept that this drug will fix this problem even with the horrible side effects (zombies don’t care about side affects they are already dead). We then go and tell our doctors we want that drug. So we are selling the drug to our doctors. How about food? We live on the SAD diet. Standard American Diet and its bad for us. Eating all the junk that makes us sick then we need the drugs that make us sicker. Is anyone else bothered by this cycle? The worst part is that the drugs aren’t even working. If they were we wouldn’t be building more hospitals and medical centers. Take a look we are bulging at the seams, just like our waistlines.
Health care will totally collapse if this continues. The only way to stop it is take our own health into our own hands. Start eating correctly and improve your diet. Tell your doctors you want to get off the drugs as your health improves. Don’t be SAD with your diet be happy and energized by it. You owe it to yourself and your family.Being ill causes the another epigenetic change that will make us sicker … STRESS!
